row of dots!

I am so happy that I can actually be counting down finally! I say that because Cody and I were in the negatives for a long time. It took a long time to finally get the paperwork. It took (it seems like) a long time to fill them out and them to be sent off.  It took FOREVER waiting and waiting for his mission call to get here! And then, once he got it, we had to wait half a year for him to leave! So actually! I have been "waiting" for a super long time! I feel like we are accomplishing our goal now! yay! Check out my countdown!

The very very first dot!

Two weeks worth of dots!

THE FIRST ROW IS DONE!!! YAY!!!

  3. I feel the same way about those dots. We just rounded the first corner! He's having such a wonderful time, though. I loved his last letter telling about meeting Elder Cook and the promises Elder Cook made to the Elder's serving their missions. The work is important. Very important. Waiting and supporting these young men while they are away from family and friends is an important work too.

    2. Thats awesome, a letter will come I promise. My Elder is in Sao Paulo too, North. It took 2 1/2 months to get my first letter from him... its a hard wait- I completely understand. But when they started coming they come every week or two, sometimes I get 2 or 3 letters all at once. Its crazy because they're dated a month or 2 back but the letters make everything worth it!
